This one is for a sweet friend going through a break up...thought she would enjoy the sentiment, "Chocolate is more reliable & richer than most men!"

Skipping Stones Design Sketch Challenge #34
Here's my first take on this weeks sketch design by Kim Kesti, a card for a neighbor who just had surgery...I loved this paper from S.E.I. Dill Blossom collection and when I saw this stamp set, Dandelion Dreams, I fell in love with the little 'wish fairies'.

Thin Woman-Skipping Stones Design

SSD 033 - Sketch Challenge
I've wanted to use this set for a while now and this sketch seemed to fit well..."There's a thin woman inside me screaming to get out...but I can easily sedate her with chocolate."

Oregon Coast-Soul Scrappers SC14

Wow, I keep losing my 'add photo' button...somehow it gets changed from Compose to Edit HTML...maybe I'll remember how to fix it next time without wasting an hour-LOL.  More photos from last years vacation in Depot Bay on the Oregon coast with family and friends...we had an awesome time!

Lennon's Ladybug

FCCB #17 - Creepy Crawler and Orange
Cartridges:  Doodletype, Home Decor
I don't know how creepy ladybugs are, but thought this would work well.  It's been a while since I've played along with Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog, but I wanted to make another card for Lennon and thought this seemed like a good one to combine for a little boy.  I don't know if you remember the story of Lennon, a 4 year old little boy who has cancer and enjoys receiving cards...this one is obviously for him.

Reel Glad Dad

You may have seen this on Erin's blog...she had a fun challenge called Scrap my Stash III where she sent several participants the exact same RAK of images from the Skipping Stones Design set called Holy Carp. The challenge was:
Your mission is to create a piece of artwork using ALL of these guidelines:
1) Use at least TWO of the images (MUST use the large image included)
2) Use at least ONE sentiment.
3) Incorporate stitching of some sort.
4) Incorporate additional decorative fibers (non paper).
5) Use 1-2 pieces of METAL.
6) Make it POP.. use some dimensional adhesives (pop dots, tabs, foam tape, etc).
7) Have FUUUUN!!!!
Anyhow, it came early enough for me to make a Father's Day card, but I waited to post until Erin posted her challenge card submissions...it was lots of fun, thanks for the challenge Erin!
