OWH-Jack Russell Miss You!

I made this card for the Stars and Stamps-Our Daily Bread Challenge.

Each month ODB offers two gift certificates AND sponsors the shipping for up to two of the Operation Write Home boxes of cards (one for every 25 cards submitted for the challenge).  This month, in honor of Cinco de Mayo, the challenge was to use 5 different design elements on your card:
1. Stamping
2. Layers
3. Buttons
4. Twine
5. Staples

I was excited to ink up this cute little stamp I ordered from Stampers Best because it looks so much like my little Jack Russell Terrier, Jesse. Stampers Best is also a supporter of Operation Write Home.

Wedding Fan Favors

I almost forgot to post the pictures of the wedding fan favors I made for my son's wedding in St. Thomas.  The wedding program came with the green already embossed, then I ran it through my printer for their names and details, added a scallop edge and colored the butterfly from Skipping Stones Design Healing Wings.

Here is the back of it:

Another butterfly, a flourish, and some pearls...

Added a craft stick and some thin ribbon...I actually finished coloring the butterflies while we were on the cruise...nothing like waiting till the last minute...at least I got some crafty time in - LOL!

and it reminded me of...

This card is for a little joke on my boss at work, something about the lips...but it just happened to fit perfectly with the colors in the Play Date Cafe Challenge 131:

And look...the inspiration photo even has fish!  This great sketch came from Skipping Stones Design 127,

there's still time to link up...(stamp set from Holy Carp by Skipping Stones Design)
